Chip Bifano, President
Mr. Bifano is based out of his home office in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. He oversees Paul Davis National and is growing the business into new markets and further developing existing client relationships. He has a proven success record as a corporate executive in business development and strategic management leadership.
Prior to becoming president of Paul Davis National in 2013, Mr. Bifano served as vice president and managing director of a leading managed vendor network, serving consumers and the insurance industry in property restoration, reconstruction, mitigation and specialty services through a network of more than 4,500 contractors. He also held the position of president for an international organization of textile restoration specialists with clients in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Bifano graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Education. He has authored several industry related articles published in Claims magazine and other trade publications. He has facilitated numerous continuing education training courses at Property Loss Research Bureau’s national and regional conferences. He also has vast experience in the restoration franchising industry, with milestone achievements in corporate goals and operational growth.
J Murphy, Senior Vice President
Mr. Murphy, from his Toledo home office, has become one of the nation’s leading experts in the insurance reconstruction industry. He has a wealth of knowledge in both residential and commercial loss evaluations, pre-loss analysis, and loss dispute resolution. His primary focus at PDN is consulting and special projects, as well as training programs for adjusters and contractors.
He started his career in construction in 1977. This career choice ultimately led to the insurance restoration industry where he is recognized as a leading expert on loss analysis and value loss appraisals. He joined Paul Davis in 1998, working as a Senior Project Manager, Director of Operations, and then Senior VP of Operations.
Mr. Murphy holds a degree in Criminal Justice. He also has a nationwide Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) certification through the American Society of Appraisers and has written in excess of one billion dollars’ worth of damage appraisals and evaluations for the insurance industry. He holds numerous IICRC Certifications and an Honorary Doctorate from Martin University. In addition, he has written several articles of various trade publications for the insurance restoration industry.
Neal, Director of Operations
Mr. Lengacher is based in Milwaukee at the Paul Davis National headquarters building. As the director of operations, he oversees production activities of all projects, monitors revenue margins, and identifies areas PDN can improve operations. He has scoped, estimated, and managed the expeditious restoration of numerous hospitals, schools, high-rise office / residential buildings, industrial factories, churches and hotels – as well as more than 400 individual residences.
Mr. Lengacher has been involved in building design and construction since the age 12, working for his father’s construction company from 1977 to 2003. After college, he worked as a design engineer in the automotive industry for several years, before joining Paul Davis as an estimator in 2003. In 2005 he became the co-owner and general manager of Paul Davis of North Indianapolis, and then he joined Paul Davis National as a project manager in 2010. Since that time, he has become an integral part of the PDN executive team, mitigating and restoring buildings affected by fire, smoke, water, and wind damage.
Mr. Lengacher graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering. He holds IICRC certifications in water damage, fire/smoke damage, and lead abatement. He is also licensed as an insurance adjuster in Indiana.
Jeannie Zukauskas, Controller
Ms. Zukauskas is based in Milwaukee at the Paul Davis National headquarters building. As PDN’s controller, she manages the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day accounting activities, and she makes sure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals. Her strong accounting and reconciliation skills ensure fiscal responsibility of company assets, regularly interfacing with banks and lessors, casualty/liability insurance agents, property owners, and subcontractors.
Prior to becoming controller of Paul Davis National in 2013, Ms. Zukauskas served as the director of corporate accounting and controller for two large, Milwaukee-based companies, where she managed accounts payable, accounts receivable, and human resources. She has worked in accounting for 22 years, with extensive experience with financial reporting, meeting deadlines, and having high attention to detail with receivables and payables. She is always willing to ask questions to understand and reinforce processes and procedures.
Ms. Zukauskas graduated from University of Wisconsin—Madison, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Consumer Science and Personal Finance. She also holds a Master of Science Degree in Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee, and she has held a CPA certification since 2006. She encourages everyone to always continue to learn—for everyone to care about the work product they put out, and for our whole team to always strive to be a little better. In her spare time, she has served as the treasurer on a PTO Board, providing additional classroom resources.
Ryan Hudziak, Program Manager
Mr. Hudziak is based in Milwaukee at the Paul Davis National headquarters building. As PDN’s program manager, he spends his time supporting project-level activities and improving the long-term organizational performance. He supports PDN’s nationwide disaster recovery and emergency mitigation operations of commercial properties, responsible for company programs and ensuring financial oversight of multi-million-dollar projects.
Prior to joining Paul Davis National in 2013, he worked in emergency management, operational analysis and advising, and strategic messaging—his diverse background coupled with an advanced education offers him the unique insight to evaluate operations and manage both up and across organizations to address complex, interdisciplinary issues. He works to maintain a culture that supports continual testing and experimenting, finding alternatives to existing processes.
Mr. Hudziak has earned a Master of Business Administration Degree and Master of the Arts Degree in Rhetorical Leadership. He champions continued professional development and lifelong learning, always working towards developing our next generation of emergent leaders: leaders that have vision, that have creativity, and that can influence others to move an organization into unchartered territory. In his spare time, he volunteers with the National Ski Patrol and Medical Reserve Corps.
